About Us

We are two brothers Roman and Anton. Back in 2008, we met and were carried away by a wonderful invention of Swiss masters. It was love from the first sound, from the first note. Firstly we tried to buy a handpan. It happened in 2011. After playing the instrument for a while, having already felt all its magic and beauty from personal experience, we decided to try to create our own handpan.

Our business was born in 2013 as a family workshop in the small town of Barvenkovo, Kharkov region, Ukraine. The research itself and the first attempts at writing began back in 2012, when only dozens of people knew about handpan in Ukraine, only a few had a tool, and there were grains of information on how to make it. Therefore, we were taught this business only by our personal experience. With small steps, through mistakes and failures, we continued to experiment with metal, having only a great desire – to make not just a good instrument, but something very special.

We went our own way, and it was interesting for us to sound unique. Therefore, we decided to find our own material and our own sound, using different manufacturing principles: different steel, different heat treatment and approach in general. And as a result, at the end of 2013 at the beginning of 2014, the first two instruments appeared.

Our first works were a real discovery. They had their own special timbre unlike anything else, powerful amplitude and sustain sounding.

We subsequently named this type of instruments HP (HardPan).
