NT Handpans
What is NT ?
NT is shorten version from Nitriding. Nitriding is a technology of chemical-thermal hardening of metals, which we use to produce NT type handpans.
What are the features of NT technology?
Nitriding technology for handpans has been used for a long time, since the early 2000s, since the birth of the instrument itself. Used to increase the rigidity of the surface layer of steel, that gives resistance and corrosion protection as well.
Of course, we were also interested in trying this material.
The tactile sensations from the surface of such an instrument are similar to ceramics, and the sound is characterized by a shorter sustain (length of sound).
It is well suited for fast, percussive playing of the instrument, for musicians who travel a lot and play on the streets.

The structure of the instrument is negotiated individually.
