HP Handpans

HP comes from HardPan. This name for a type of handpans was started by our workshop in 2014. It was a real invention. It was absolutely new technology of handpan production. It was born by means of research conducted by our workshop at the beginning of its journey. 

At the time of the idea of creating our workshop in the world of handpan instruments, there was a persistent opinion that quality sound is impossible without the use of nitriding technology.

(Nitriding is a modern chemical-thermal method of strengthening metals to provide more wear-resistant properties).

We wanted to invent our way, without using the technology mentioned above, to have a fully controlled system for constant and sustainable quality of our instruments. We were sure there was another way to get a great result. We took a different metal and applied classic strengthening methods known since ancient times. The method chosen by us is used to forging blades, swords, etc.

As a result, we got a completely new sound, characterized by a special warmth, high amplitude, and sustain.
